Information we receive

The public pages do not require an account. When you email us, we receive your email address, message and any details you choose to provide. To deliver or restore access to a purchased digital product, Smarketing Media LLC may process your purchase email, product, payment status or transaction identifier, and support requests. The website and delivery systems may process IP address, browser and device details, request times, and access events as needed to operate and secure the service.

How information is used and shared

We use information to answer inquiries, provide purchased content, verify eligible access, address refunds or support, secure the website, and keep necessary records. Amazon Web Services provides hosting and may provide private storage and transactional email delivery. The identified checkout provider processes payment and may send transaction communications; for the current audiobook offer, checkout uses Stripe Managed Payments through Link. Its merchant-of-record entity and its own privacy terms appear at checkout. We do not receive full payment-card numbers. Future offerings may identify other providers or different arrangements before purchase. A purchase alone does not enroll you in promotional email.

Retention and rights

Information is kept for as long as reasonably needed for these purposes, lawful recordkeeping, and applicable agreements. We use reasonable safeguards, while no internet service can guarantee absolute security. To request access, correction or deletion of information we control, contact the appropriate address above; applicable law and recordkeeping duties may affect a request. Other sites and projects

Links to independent retailers, social networks and other websites lead to their own privacy practices. Thinking Through Parenting currently presents books and a project in development; this website does not host app accounts or collect children’s reflections. A future app or engagement may have its own notice or agreement for the data it handles.
