01 / A moment becomes an opening
We bring a history into every interaction.
The moment
“My child wants something I hadn’t planned to buy.”
The reflection
“What did wanting things mean in my family?”
The conversation
“What matters to you about having it?”
An illustrative example of exploring a response before choosing how to engage.

02 / A practice of reflection
Write a few words or use your phone’s dictation. Begin with an experience that stays with you.
Explore a theme when words are difficult to find. Let a question give you a way into your own experience.
Return to a saved moment or question, with space to consider what has changed.
The screens shown here are from the app in development; public access has not yet launched. An AI companion is being developed to ask follow-up questions and support reflection on the parent’s own experience.
The AI companion / In development
The companion is being designed to help you understand what a moment brings up in you—and choose how to meet it.
Notice
Find the feeling, expectation, or story behind your response.
Reframe
Make room for another way to understand the moment.
Reconnect
Bring that awareness into the conversation with your child.
Grounded in the project’s books and reflective approach. Your judgment stays at the center.
03 / An ecosystem for growth
Thinking Through Parenting is a developing ecosystem for parents’ self-development. Books introduce ideas, the app brings them into everyday reflection, and future programs would create space to explore them with others. The connecting thread is greater awareness of ourselves and how we relate to our children.
A published first book provides the foundation. A second edition is in development, with further themes envisioned for the series.
A place for everyday moments, thoughtful questions, and continuity in a parent’s reflection.
Deeper exploration of themes introduced through the books and everyday reflection.
A bridge from individual reflection to parent–child conversation and shared understanding.

The published book
Published in 2025, the first book opens the series through a familiar subject: money. It invites parents to consider what they bring into conversations about wanting, spending, and choosing.

A second edition of the first book is planned for October 1, 2026. Further books are part of the longer-term vision for exploring the experiences that shape us as parents.
Planned release: October 1, 2026. Further titles will be announced as they are ready.
04 / El vínculo
The longer-term vision is to help parents and children understand one another, especially as independence grows.
Future shared experiences would create space for each person’s perspective, with guided questions and conversations for difficult moments. The design intention is voluntary participation, with each person choosing what to share. Personal reflections would not be automatically shared with children.
